Tex drums, vocals, acoustic guitar With a strong foundation in the New England country music scene (go figure), Tex "got the beat" in his early teens. Before hooking up with HTB, he has played punk with The Squad, weddings with NightLife, rock with Caribou Gone, Three Dawgs To Go and Pursuit, acoustic/oldies with Gone Bad and country/western with Dry County, The Country Rebels & White Lightnin' who were voted one of the top ten country groups in Connecticut. His influences range from punk to country and from classic rock to Irish folk music.
Tom & Cindy t-shirts, promotions, road crew, security, fries, refills Who the hell is Cindy? After years of boredom with their regular 9 to 5 jobs, this intrepid duo began checking out the local music scene. After hearing about HTB through other area players and a local chef, they decided to give a listen. They were hooked. When the band realized that there was no stopping them from showing up at gigs, they were officially adopted and put to work. They can often be spotted at the band's promo table or at an unsuspecting bar or club trying to find new venues to play.
Lisa vocals, guitar, bass After graduating from the tennis racquet, Lisa started playing guitar and singing when she was 14. Influences come from bands like Violent Femmes, Pretenders, L7 and Concrete Blonde. (Also into Lucinda Williams and Aimee Mann). Past bands include The Sundogs - (playing in the Fairfield County and New Haven areas), Bad Cervix (an original band - playing punk style rock from New Haven County to Greenwich Village) and Gone Bad (acoustic/oldies).
Pete bass, fiddle, vocals "Pete Floyd" might provide the bottom for HTB, but he certainly tops the list in versatility. Besides playing bass with such notables as The Dave Kaplan Trio, Zoa's Arc, RPM Theatre and Caribou Gone, Pete has been the drummer for The Metroes, played trombone with the Glen Rock Pops and viola with the Cedar Vale Quartet, Livingston Symphony Orchestra and Danbury Symphony Orchestra. PHEW! If it wasn't for his seeing The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show, he never would have wanted to rock and roll!
J. J. guitar, bass, vocals Being the resident head-banger of HTB is just the latest chapter in J. J.'s (a.k.a. Jack Sabbath) musical career. Early bands include Raven Supper and The Hollow, who shared the stage with national acts such as The Ramones, Madame X and Red Alert. After taking time off to raise a family, J. J. released the rock and roll that built up inside him with a vengeance that can be seen at any HTB show. His influences range from punk and metal to Chuck Berry and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
